The Account Supervisor works closely with the Vice President-Marketing and the Executive Creative Director in developing and implementing fully integrated advertising campaigns and high profile projects in a fast paced environment, while successfully generating awareness of clients’ products and generating results and increasing sales. The Account Supervisor has direct supervisory responsibility for the Accounts Services Team and is the leader/mentor within the Accounts Services Team department, as well as, is directly accountable for the progress and success of all client projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Crafts and makes presentations that are effective, compelling and on-brand
- Cultivates and inspires an Accounts Services Team who possesses the talents to achieve and exceed agency objectives
- Translates marketing objectives into clear creative strategies
- Oversees client pitches and proposals
- Meets with clients and/or agency leadership to explain campaign strategies and solutions
- Promotes a culture of innovation, excellence and accountability
- Contributes to conceptual brainstorm sessions as the agency develops advertising campaigns for our clients
- Presents, alongside agency colleagues, the campaign ideas and budget to clients
- Completes all regular tasks/paperwork associated with client account management, such as open jobs, create and input estimates, develop creative briefs, proofing, research, etc.
- Understands and uses project management software for the creation, time tracking and trafficking of jobs. Reviews jobs, codes and tasks to ensure account team members code and track time accordingly to ensure accurate client billing.
- Keeps apprised of the client’s brands, products, services and marketing developments, as well as, those within their industry
- Communicates effectively with clients including immediate responses to email, phone calls, messages, faxes and meeting coordination
- Proofs creative work and reviews with client for final approval in a timely manner.
- Hires, trains, evaluates and mentors the Accounts Services Team employees
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies required:
- Ability to effectively judge creative work and provide a critical eye when reviewing
- Expert at translation of consumer insights into actionable creative strategies and breakthrough concept that drive business results
- Superior presentation, written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and social and analytical tools
- Previous supervisory experience
- Superior presentation, written and oral communication skills

- Results driven, flexible and open minded with good problem solving and project management skills
